I Don't Suppose You Would Believe Me If I Told You This Really Works...

Dear Parent,

Firstly, I didn't believe anything would work for my son, Tom. I didn't
think anything would work, because nothing had worked for 5 years. Here
he was at 10 years old - still not dry and with no end in sight.

Secondly, why would you believe that this was any different to all of
the other "How to stop bed wetting" stuff on the internet?

There's a lot I can tell you about me, how I came to put this system
together, and what I know it will do for you; however, the bottom line
is that you will have to believe that I'm not another person trying to
flog you a book of tips written by someone else that may or may not
work. I will do my very best to demonstrate that I am who I say I am
and that I truly mean what I say.

I think if I were you, the first question I would want answered is "Who
would spend their time putting together a step by step process to end
bed wetting?"
I'll tell you who:

Someone who spent 5 years trying to find a solution and then paid over
$3,200 in desperation.

Yes, I really did. And I don't mind admitting that we absolutely could
not afford to spend that much, but I kept on trying to convince myself
that the alternative was just too awful and we couldn't go on.

You already know, because you wouldn't be here if you didn't, that
having a child who is in every other respect "normal" (whatever that
means) and wets the bed is distressing and confusing. There is so much
literature about bedwetting being the effect of low self-esteem, lack
of confidence, and psychological trauma that you wonder where you are
going wrong. As an author of two published parenting books, I am
extremely sensitive about where I am going wrong as a parent, and I am
certainly not perfect, but I am very confident that neither of my
children has suffered psychological damage. (By the way, psychological
damage does cause bedwetting in a tiny minority of cases, and they are
usually children who develop what is known as `secondary enuresis'
where they have been dry and then start to wet again.)

Anyway, the point is that parents of bedwetting children will try
anything, so what astounds and infuriates me is that I felt I had to
pay such an enormous sum of money to sort it out without resorting to
drugs.

Why don't doctors know what works?
Why are the charity-based centers so vague in their advice?

I'm sure they do know what works, but they don't seem to be letting us
in on the secret!
So what was the result of spending $3,200?

It WORKED! Happy Days!

I paid a specialist private clinic to cure my son's bedwetting. There
is no doubt that these specialist clinics are very good and if you have
a complex wetting problem I'm sure that it would be good to get the
individual help that they provide. But there are hundreds of thousands
of children who do not have complex problems, they just haven't grown
out of bed wetting yet (and we don't want to trust to luck that they
will). Despite being thrilled that Tom was now dry, I was left feeling
a bit fed up about parting with so much money and having the process
drip-fed to me over many drawn-out months.

So, I decided to do my own research, find out what works and why, and
put it together in a comprehensive way that you will not find
elsewhere, and for a fraction of the price.

I dug really deep, read scientific papers and unraveled the latest
research. It all points to one way of curing bedwetting that truly is
not rocket science, and yet every day thousands of children are
needlessly suffering with the misery and embarrassment of wet beds or
being given horrible drugs to take.

I just don't think that it's right for me to keep the information to
myself now that I know it, and I know how it can help you.

Remember that my son had never been dry for more than a couple of
nights and for most of his life he was soaking every single night. We
tried EVERYTHING as you will see when you read on but first, I really
don't want to sell you the wrong thing and waste your money so before
you continue reading, I want to make sure that your child is suitable
for this step by step formula to stop bedwetting:

If you answer yes to the statements below, then this system is for you:
* My child has never been dry at night
* My child has only ever been dry for a few nights at a time
* My child consistently wets the bed 3 or more nights a week
* My child has good bladder and bowel control in the day

If your child has more serious day-time symptoms too, then it is
important to see a doctor to rule out medical problems.

Of course, it's not only the bedwetting child who suffers. I wonder if
you are, like I was:
* Fed up with washing sheets or paying for pull-ups?
* Tired of waiting for your child to "grow out of it?"
* Exasperated from trying so many different "cures"
* Searching for something that will work without drugs and hospital
tests?

Well, you can relax. Your search is over!

Hi Emma,

My son is going so well! He has just turned 7 and used to be drenched
most nights. So we started the alarm on 10 May. The first two nights
were wet, then we had an "oops", then we had 4 dry nights, sleeping
through the night in a row. I can't believe how quickly we have got
these results. We had an "oops" last night, but it was only a little
bit and he was up in a flash to turn the alarm off. We both feel so
encouraged. I'm so glad I trawled the internet one more time and found
your system! Thank you so much.

- Fleur Baker, Auckland, New Zealand

Hi Emma,

We are all so very happy with your programme; our son has 2 months of
completely dry nights and is totally over the moon, so are we. We
honestly never thought we would be here ever!! After 13 hard years, he
has been to sleep overs, and we are going on holiday to Spain next week
(without the nappy pants!!) Yeppeee! I am totally happy to write on
your website how fantastic your advice has been and how much support
you have given us - you are a star, advising us and supporting us. The
doctors were totally useless, telling us to not let him drink after 4pm
(how impossible was that) and how was he ever going to learn how to
control his bladder! Many many kind regards.

- Mel Paul, Bristol, UK

Hi Emma,

George has been dry for three weeks now and we are about to try phase
3. I am so grateful to you for this programme and all your advice - I
never thought we would get here and it is really exciting to think
those bad old days are behind us. Thank you!

- Lowri Story, London, UK

Dear Emma,

I would just like to let you know that our daughter has now stopped
wetting the bed. She has been dry for about 9 weeks! Thanks for a great
programme and for you encouraging emails. We will be starting with our
son in the near future and will keep you in touch on his progress.

Kind regards, Chris Gaynor, Banbury, UK

Hi Emma!

I wanted to write and say thank you. I don't know if you'll remember me
but I phoned you some weeks ago and got quite distressed about my son,
Oliver's, bedwetting. Well after only about a month and a half we have
finished Stage 2 and he is pretty much going through the night and
staying dry, without getting up for the loo in the night!

Your programme is amazing! We're so pleased at how quickly Oliver has
progressed. Oliver has even had a sleepover both at home and a friend's
house and he stayed dry. Oliver is also very pleased with himself and
feels very grown up not having to wear pull ups. Also, I'm a lot more
relaxed about all of it.

We can't say thank you enough to you and all your hardwork in your
research and ideas.

I feel inspired like you that there are so many parents out there that
stress about this and your programme is easy to follow yet effective.
It would save us all a of time (and money!) if it was widely
recognised. I have also been raving about it to friends that are not
worried yet, but beginning to wonder if they should intervene to help
their lttle ones. Everyone I tell is very impressed!

I hope you get the recognition you deserve for this and wish you all
the best for the future.

- Sarah Lambert, Oliver and family, Felsted, Essex, UK

Dear Emma,

It was so lovely to meet you yesterday and to be able to thank you in
person for changing my son's life and therefore inevitably mine, by
the Dry at Night manual.

Nobody, unless they've experienced the utter despair of watching
their child struggle to have a dry night, can appreciate how
fantastic it is to be cured.

To be relieved of the feeling of utter failure is unbelievably
wonderful. My son is a different boy now. The bedwetting would
permeate all areas of his life (not just the sheets!). No matter how
brilliant he was at school or on the football field, he would still
have that feeling of being `not good enough' purely because he
couldn't control his bladder at night.

`Dry at Night' has completely changed all that. We followed the
`rules' to the letter and treated it like a project to complete
(hoping in my heart to succeed within 5 months (before his 10th
birthday)). He enthusiastically took responsibility of drinking the
right amount of liquid and timing to the second how long he could
hold it in. I bought an alarm that was quite expensive (but, as he
said, he would pay over £1000 to be cured) and therefore unobtrusive
and comfortable to sleep with. When there were setbacks (a wet
night), instead of feeling a failure, he felt it part of the course
which he hadn't yet completed. When he did complete the course
(happily a month before his 10th birthday), he felt he could conquer
anything ... and so he can!

I cannot speak more highly of the way your teaching approaches this
debilitating condition. I cannot thank you enough for your
instrumental help in freeing him of the embarrassment and discomfort of
being a bedwetter. On a personal note I would also like to thank you
for bringing us closer together. Due to the teamwork approach to the
problem, he felt strongly that I was with him all the way and with the
charts (and chats) gave him daily proof that all I want is for him to
be happy. Which is what we all want for all of our children!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I think you're brilliant!!

With much love, Diana

Hi Emma,

Thank you for your email, and YES, Theo has pretty much conquered the
bed wetting! I have been holding off telling you as I have wanted to
wait until I was sure things were really good. It has taken about 6
months to get where we are now and we have had about 9 weeks of dry
beds with only 2 accidents! His life has gone from strength to strength
and so has mine! We still fill in your form every night, but he has
been without the alarm now for a week and so far so good! We are now
testing the bladder with a bowl of cereal at night-time and he can
manage. I am now tackling my other son who is 6.

The alarm is a complete revelation and I think your book deserves some
major recognition.

Thank you for all your advice - life is most certainly brighter for us
all!

- Emily-Jane Taylor, Northampton, Wiltshire, UK

Hi Emma,

This is a good news email.

Our Jaz is dry EVERY NIGHT. She has been on holidays and had sleepovers
for the first time without worrying! Life's a breeze now!

Our program began 30 August 2009 and by 16 December 2009, she was
completely dry. She was so happy to have her 11th birthday and be dry.

I have recommended your site and method to others - I'm sure you will
be hearing from them. Thank you so very much.

- Joce, Jaz and family, Darwin River, Australia

Hi Emma,

We just wanted to let you know how much your system has helped us and
our 7.5 year old son. We have never had a dry night in the last 7 years
so when I came across you on the internet I was somewhat doubtful.
However, we have been using our alarm and doing exercises for the last
two weeks now and we have already had 3 dry nights! We can't quite
believe it, especially as the first few nights felt like we had a new
born again.

We know we are not out of the woods yet but we all (including our son)
feel excited and delighted with the progress. It's good to have genuine
people selling genuine products.

Thanks so much for your advice and support!

Best wishes.

- Rebecca Kerner

Hi Emma,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are now nearly 3 weeks after
finishing the programme with no wet nights. I have been almost too
scared to tempt fate by emailing you to say how successful the
programme has been for us.

My son, Jack, is 6 years old and prior to the treatment we had reached
a stage of being lucky if we had one dry night a week. Like many others
I had not found the health professionals very supportive with the main
advice being to get him to drink more during the day to stretch his
bladder and getting him to drink juice rather than milk at bedtime?!
All this did was move us from one/two dry nights a week to one/two dry
nights a month. Jack, however, did not wake with the wetness and seemed
surprisingly to be able to sleep well through it.

We began your programme with a little trepidation expecting to be up
and down several times a night for weeks when the alarm went off. As it
was, this happened for about 3 nights only before the results became
apparent and Jack was sleeping through (although waking earlier than
previously) without setting the alarm off at all.

We are now all delighted and have fingers crossed that it will last.
Jack seems much less tired in the day now; even though the wetness did
not wake him before, his quality of sleep seems to have improved.

Thank you for your help and advice.

- Helen Stones

Hi Emma,

Our daughter Rebecca is 10 years old and has had only short periods of
dryness. She used to go to sleepovers and stay awake all night but on
the last occasion she fell asleep and wet the bed at a friend's house.
I downloaded your system and we read it together.

Rebecca has been dry for the last 5 weeks except for 1 night. She has
even gone a couple of nights without the alarm. We still need to
attempt the final 2 phases of the process, i.e., 2 weeks without the
alarm then the late night drinking stage.

Nevertheless, life is so much better for all of us and I am sure we
have finally beaten this thing - no thanks to the medical profession
and all thanks to you. I am now reading your `Brilliant Parent' book in
the hope that I can improve my relationship with Rebecca's 13 year-old
brother. Many, many thanks!

- Phil Taylor, UK

Hi Emma,

Firstly, thank you so much for sharing your experience and research
with me. I feel in my heart this is THE ONE! We are already 12 days dry
(up once each night) and Jaz (10) is very excited to be approaching 14
days. We've come so far from being wet 3 times a night. Her confidence
is booming! We've kept the motivation on standby - so far she's focused
and self-motivated but we are ready to prop her up if she needs it.

Thanks so much for your wonderful program!!!!!

- Joce Forwood, Darwin, Australia

Hi Emma,

Just to let you know last night was two weeks (14 days) dry - Yay!!
Took him to the doctor about three weeks ago and mentioned to the doc
about what we were doing. She informed me she very much doubted it
would work and it was a `time' thing. Well, I think this experience has
proved her wrong, yet again.

My son goes on camp in early December and is now keen as, whereas
before he wanted to stay home. We now have started to stay at friend's
places (who have kids) and go away; you don't realise how limiting it
can be, especially when the kids are so embarrassed by it and don't
want anyone to know. Many thanks for all you information and
encouragement.

- Esther, New Zealand

Hi Emma,

My son Tom is now dry at night. He recently went on a ski trip with my
husband and he was very nervous about wetting the bed, but he made it
through with no problems. It has given him so much more confidence.
Thank you again for helping our family.

- Donna Waldeck, UK

Dear Emma,

We have had almost 100% success already and are very happy. Thank you
so much for all your tips and for your continued support.

- Katrina and Family (A very happy Aussie family!!)

Thank you so much for putting all this together. It was very easy to
follow and we got results more quickly than we dared to imagine.
Finally, there's a step-by-step system that makes sense and has
research to back it up.

It is so clearly explained and incorporates both the emotional and
physical aspects of getting dry. Best of all, it's personal-written
from the heart-and you clearly KNOW what you are talking about. Your
empathy and expertise shine through.

- Karen Moxom, Hertfordshire, UK

Hi Emma,

Just thought I'd tell you the good news: Lottie has completed her first
2 dry weeks - hurrah!!! She is SO pleased. She is lovely the way she
talks about it all, she refers to you as though she knows you, i.e.,
"We have to do what Emma says, don't we Mama?" & "Emma says I have to
wear the alarm so I better had." I think being able to associate the
process with someone outside our close 2 person unit has really helped
her. It stops her feeling it is just something else I am asking her to
do!

My social worker is most impressed with the progress Charlotte has made
& has asked for the details of your system, so I have directed her to
your website, well both websites. So I am spreading the word.

- Jane Lewis, UK

Hi Emma,

My daughter has successfully completed all stages of the programme and
has been 100% dry now for over 4 weeks. She took to the programme
immediately, only bedwetting about 5 times in the first week.

We are both over the moon and I can't thank you enough! It has been
life changing and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

- Jo Shepherd, Cheshire, UK

What We Tried...
* Lifting him when we came to bed
* Night-time alarm
* Night-time pants
* No night-time pants
* Star charts
* Restricting fluids after a certain time
* Not restricting fluids
* Restricting certain types of fluids
* Testing his diet
* Hypnosis Homeopathy
* Cranial osteopathy
* Kinesiology Past life regression!

And None of These Methods Worked!

So, you can see that we fall into the category of `people who try
anything'. We also, of course, went to the doctor who told us how
common it is (comforting but not helpful), and then said these words:

"Don't worry; he'll grow out of it. And if he doesn't, there are
drugs."

Great!

Everybody I speak to has had the same response. Have you?

I looked up the side-effects of the drugs and decided that there was NO
WAY we would go down that route. I understand that there are drugs that
have few side-effects, but their success rate at curing the bedwetting
is poor, once the child stops taking them. In fact, doctors agree that
they are a short term measure that doesn't work in the long-term.

I think it is absolutely wrong that parents are offered drugs (that
don't have a good success rate) before they try a behavioral approach
which has a very good success rate. But of course, you know why we are
not given solutions that work - they take time to explain and need good
support and co-operation for parents. There may be parents who don't
want to support their children and make a bit of an effort to get rid
of this horrible problem, but I suspect that if you are still with me,
you are not one of them.

This is not a quick fix but you will get results remarkably quickly if
you follow the instructions carefully.

You also need to be aware that in order to be successful you will need
to use a bedwetting alarm. You know that we tried an alarm which didn't
work so why am I recommending one now? What I now know is that although
we followed the instructions, we didn't use it as effectively as we
could, and we gave up too easily when it didn't work. Now I know how to
use it properly and set it up for success. Even without extra guidance,
alarms have by far the highest success rate amongst treatments
available. So - yes - you do need a bedwetting alarm in my system and I
have included information about alarms and how to get hold of the right
one for you quickly and easily.

I have put together a system of treatment using all the effective
strategies that I discovered in my search, and added some valuable
expertise from the world of coaching.

If you are still not sure whether to order "Dry at Night" or not, you
may be interested to know that some of the other side effects of curing
the bedwetting. I discovered that most bedwetters have disturbed nights
even if they don't actually wake up, and therefore suffer from these
effects too. We were surprised to find that some of our son's everyday
behavior was due to his bedwetting.

Does your child:
* Get easily distracted at school?
* Find it difficult to get up in the morning?
* Take a long time until they are alert in the morning?
* Find it difficult to concentrate?
* Need a lot of sleep?
* Get moody, especially at breakfast time?

Some other side effects of curing the bedwetting are the side effects
that you would expect to find in a child who was suddenly sleeping
properly:
* More alert
* Less easily distracted
* More able to concentrate
* Better engagement in tasks
* Nicer to be around
* Surprisingly, needs less sleep!

Is there a downside to this? Yes, there is: this is not a quick fix. If
you are easily put off by having to be persistent, then this is not for
you. You will need to be committed to helping your child, although if
you are still reading, you already are. It will mean disturbed nights
in the short term for you as well as them. It will take commitment from
the whole family to make it work. So, be prepared to before you buy the
"Dry at Night" E-System.

If you want a child who is:
* Confident to stay with friends
* More alert in the mornings
* Ready to engage at school
